Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to arrive on October 23, 2026, and players are already checking what they will bring into the new release. The Open Beta Reset
Anyone who played the open beta between August 21 and September 1 should expect a clean progression slate at release. Temporary ranks, weapon levels, and normal unlocks were used for testing and will not define the launch experience. That may sound frustrating if you spent several evenings levelling a favourite rifle, but it keeps the first multiplayer week more even. Cosmetic rewards marked as permanent are the exception and should remain unlocked when the full game arrives.
Warzone And The New Arsenal

Older Operators and previous cosmetic bundles will stay tied to earlier games, allowing the new factions and military styling to establish their own identity. Weapon sharing is still being handled around the updated ballistic model and the new firearm range.
